Product Review: Makeup Revolution Amazing Lipstick in Dazzle

I had recently ordered a makeup product online and today I finally received the package. I was more than happy to open the package and could not wait to see the magical thing. As I opened the package, I instantly got a big smile on my face. The reason for that big smile was that I had received the exact same shade of lipstick that I had ordered, unlike some of my friends who got a different shade or a different product entirely.

After thanking God for not being scammed by internet hoaxes, I decided to check out the lipstick. The first thing I noticed was the packaging, obviously. It did not come in a box of any sort. It only had a plastic seal that ensured the product was new and eliminated the chances of it being used or damaged. The ingredients are not mentioned, so we really can't know if it has animal products or not.

Then came the exterior of the lipstick. The lipstick comes in a black plastic package with the brand name written in gold and a bar-code label with lipstick shade written on it. Both the brand name and the bar-code label are on the cap of the lipstick.

In addition to that, the cap of the lipstick has a small transparent plastic part which contains a tad bit of lipstick and helps color code the lippy. At first I didn't know that that was actual lipstick and not just design. So I got a pleasant surprise, even though I am pretty sure I'll misplace the lipstick before I even get to using that.

Next I opened the lid and revealed this hot thing. The color of the lipstick is shocking pink and the texture is very smooth. It has a lot of gold shimmers, as visible in the photo above. It smells a little bit like medicine but the smell isn't too strong to notice, unless you hold the thing right in front of your nose (which is exactly what I did). I stared at the beautiful sculpture for a while before I decided to test the color. As my skin color is slightly fairer than the wheatish tone, the color came out just like the color of the lipstick itself. I also tested it on my wrist, and here is the result.

After testing it on my cousin, who has a slightly darker complexion, I came to the conclusion that the lipstick would go well with lighter skin tones as well as darker skin tones. The texture of the lipstick is very creamy and applies well in just one coat. The color is build-able and that is what I like the most about this lipstick.

I wore two coats of the lipstick and decided to test how long it lasts. With the occasional snacking, the lipstick lasted me about 4.5 hours. It left a pinkish tint afterwards. There was no uneven coloration, but the lipstick did appear more matte than creamy after an hour.

How many stars does it get from me?
I would give it 4.5/5 stars. The reason for not giving it a five is because of the lack of mention of ingredients.

Would I recommend it?
Yes, I would. It is a fun color suitable for just about anyone. Plus, it's affordable and easily available online.
